Foxy Friday: Viktor Stålberg

4 Nov

Chuck here…

You know what time it is…

Foxy Swedish Hockey Player Time.

Oh...hai there. You're pretty.

Two weeks in a row with the Swedish guys.  Totally un-intentional but hey, we work with what we got.

There are oh so many reasons why #25 deserves this honor (the use of the letter Å definitely being one of them) but here are some of the others…

He’s 25 years old, 6’3″, 209 lbs solid.

It's real serious up underneath this t-shirt.

In back to back games on the 29th and 31st of October, he scored the game-winning goal.  He’s 5th in the league in GWG.

ABBA Dance Party!

Played 3 years at the University of Vermont – same school that has produced some other okay hockey players.  Martin St. Louis?  Tim Thomas?  Ever heard of them?

Favorite player growing up?  Fellow Swede Mats Sundin.

There’s not many who can pull off the beanie.  Or the cowl neck sweater.

But's cold outside.

His hair is almost as awesome as Henrik Lundqvist’s.  But he’s still young.  He has plenty of time to learn HL’s Jedi ways.

The Force is strong with this one.

The Force is strong with this one.

Oh and he has two younger brothers – Alexander and Sebastian, who happens to play for the University of Vermont.

Plenty of Stålbergs to go around.

How do we feel about that?

AAUUGGHH. WUYS you are trying to kill me. I’m certain of it.
I’ve fallen off the Jonathan Toews wagon onto the Patrick Kane wagon. But this might make me fall onto the Stalberg wagon. Those eyes….

Don’t you mean the “Stålberg” wagon? Can’t forget the a with the o on top!

He is purty. And the hair…oh lord the hair…

I’ve been waiting for a Stals post…He is so pretty. The Hawks have a lot of young bucks. I think Marcus Kruger is a up and coming hottie, plus and don’t think less of me…Carcillo is growing on me. Yes, i’m going to hell.

Hawks are the best looking team in the league. Agree with Carcillo – being a Blackhawk immediately includes him in the spell they have over fans. They’re all sorcerers, I tell you.

I like the cut of your jib, Lindsay!

Looking forward to the Blackhawks vs. Pens game in december SO much more (Didn’t think it was possible).
I was joking about needing EMTs near by at that game, but it’s a real possibility now.

I know nothing about hockey but I do have a thing for some foxy men. Very nice, very very nice.

Don’t need to know hockey to appreciate specimens of masculinity such as these.

Anyone else think that VS looks like he belongs on a show on The CW?

Guesting on that show Chad Michael Murray used to be on? My thought exactly.

That being said, BEAUTIFUL. About time, especially after the game against the Panthers. Men like him justify my obsessive Blackhawks fandom to the non-hockey watcher. Mmmmm….

Jesus that’s awesome. And in that beanie and jersey get up he looks like a young Marc Savard (in that B & W pic), just with, well, HAIR.

Secret Western Conference lust object? The idea has some merit.

Perhaps it’s a good thing I don’t live in North America. Yet.
